Factories - first link of supply chain
There are two Factories in the game. The first one is modern, new, and productive, but has high production costs. The second one is old, requires repairs, but has lower production costs. You need to calculate carefully where to produce the goods.
Markets - where a demand meets an offer
In our game, there are three completely different markets: Premium, Stable, and Affordable. You have data on past demand, and you need to predict what it will be in the future. It might seem simple, but don't let it fool you.
DC - distribution center
The Distribution Center (DC) allows you to reduce batch sizes, store goods until prices are high, and ensure a steady supply so that customers can always find what they need on store shelves.
Unexpected events in every round
Business cannot exist in a vacuum. A supply chain manager must analyze a large amount of information to make decisions. We understand this, and that’s why, in the game, in addition to "known" data, there are also variables. These can drastically change your market position if you make a mistake, for example, in lead time calculations or in forecasting sales for the coming months.
Make data-driven decisions
If you can't digitize something, you can't manage it. We've calculated that long calculations of obvious metrics can be done by the program. However, instructors can request that we hide these calculations. In that case, players will have to do the calculations manually.
