What Can't Be Explained in a Lecture

Top managers of manufacturing and trading companies order KADENA so their teams can see supply chain management problems through their own decisions.

15–30%
Inventory Savings
After the game, participants identify growth points: where excess inventory sits, where shortages kill sales, how to optimize procurement without risk.
2 Hours
See the Bullwhip Effect
Small fluctuations in demand on your market turn into chaos of orders for suppliers. Players feel it firsthand — and remember it forever.
1 Week
Without Interrupting Work
Teams play asynchronously throughout the work week, discussing decisions in familiar messengers. Debriefing is on Friday or Saturday.

Plan. Forecast. Manage.

"KADENA" is a simulation of a real situation in supply chain management. You make decisions from raw material ordering to product delivery to market under changing demand and competition.

What KADENA Can Do

Risk Forecasting

Analyze data from previous periods, build demand forecasts, and account for unexpected events that change the rules of the game.

Inventory Management

Decide where to produce goods — at the modern expensive plant or the old cheap one. Optimize inventory levels at the distribution center.

Cost Reduction

Find the balance between customer service level, inventory management cost, and financial efficiency of the chain.

KADENA interface — 6 steps for a new player

Create. Play. Advise.

Each participant has their own role and area of responsibility in the game session.

1

Administrator

Creates game sessions for Team Leads. Specifies their logins and passwords. Collects all team results for analysis.

2

Team Lead

The only role with data entry rights. Creates Players for their team. Team Lead results = the whole team's results.

3

Player

A team member who logs into the same session as the Team Lead. They discuss decisions in chat, but only the Team Lead enters data.

Real-Time Teamwork

KADENA doesn't require travel or time off work. Teams play online, discuss decisions in familiar messengers, and make strategic decisions together.

Team Lead + Observer Team

We register Team Leads — those who enter data into the system. Each Team Lead can assemble a team of observers who see the same game session and discuss decisions in any messenger: Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack — the team chooses.

Standard Team

Team Lead + 3 observers. Everyone sees the same session, analyzes data, argues about strategy — but only one enters the decision. This models real corporate dynamics: everyone advises, one person answers for it.

Without Interrupting Work

The game runs asynchronously throughout the work week. Participants log in, analyze the situation, discuss in chat, and make moves when convenient — without needing to gather in one place at one time.
